I am a caregiver for my mom.......
Do you mind sharing a little bit of her story? I'm curious to hear from someone other than a news article, how someone's life was changed positively because of MM. Like was she on hard Rx and then switched to MM? I find it fascinating and amazing that a simple little plant, something that belongs on the earth naturally, can have such a positive effect over chemicals mixed in a lab.
Best wishes to your mom. :)

I have been witness to it helping many people, Ill tell you briefly about some of my patients with the most severe conditions:

Patient#1 - Insulin dependant diabetic & brain cancer - Patient ingest MJ 4x a day - working with his doctor he no longer needs insulin and his cancer is in remission - he was supposed to die like 3 years ago, now he works a job doing contracting and he does physical labor all day and loves it and feels great.

Patient #2 - MS - Patient was in pain and difficulty speaking before getting on a mj regiment dose 1 gram smoked every 2 hours - Patient is able to speak and live a pretty normal life

Patient #3 - rare digestive disorder - Pt unable to eat , pt was skin and bones before begining MJ - after MJ he put on 140LBS and is normal healthy weight - before pic he is a skeleton and not expected to live long- after pic a normal guy his doctors expect him to live normal life.

I have no regrets at all, this will go down as a very memorable part of my life. I am part of history, part of a movement, a revolution. You will see when you become legal. From day 21 walking into my first legal MMJ compassion club coming out blazed as all hell its all so sureal at first - This is michigan? I thought it was holland without the bicycles, no this is america, freedom and liberty let it ring, don't pass up the chance to be a part of something great or you will regret to have no storys from this time in history.

Sure, In those hours that I have smoked a bit to much haze I have had those second thoughts and fears of 'the man' or what I could be getting myself into, is it all worth the risk? Well...Your damn right it is worth the very small risk....to live life to the fullest - to get a taste of freedom - to be a part of history - to be on the cutting edge of a new industry - a chance to live the american dream riding the wave of a new industry by its teeth - hell yea its worth it..every second of it, even those g13 haze induced paranoia momments when for a second I might consider to cut down my whole grow room in fear of persecution...living with fear it gets you no where, to deny the opressors opression..its a good feeling, to be a part of a community that really cares about the people, a team that is is focused on a goal and not on politics, it sure is something you do not see much these days.
Fuckin-a-right you said it all. I'm living a dream, being able to grow my own meds. I haven't had to go out and buy weed in almost a year now. The biggest regret I have is not growing sooner. The biggest risk I took was going out and buying it in the 1st place. And now I'm smoking the best shit out there...and it comes from MY garden...I love it.

I have a little input on this...from myself. After my accident, the doctors had me on 7 diff. Rx pills. 3 for pain,2 for anxiety and depression, 1 for sleep and 1 for muscle spasms. It didn't take long untill all this shit tore up my stomach, not to mention what it does to the rest of your body. I had always been a smoker, but after my accident ( because of workers comp. ) I had to stop for a while. The 1st joint I smoked ( about 3 months later ) slapped me in the face with a reality check. That was when I started to get my appetite back, starting being social again, and was able to start cutting back on the Rx meds. All my years of smoking, I had never realized the benifits it had to offer, probable because I was never sick or in medical need B4. I was a recreational user back then..lol. But when I was able to smoke a bowl instead of pop a pill and feel much better afterwards, thats when I had a talk with my Doc. about it. And now , besides an occasional vicodin, I'm pill free. For me it changed my life back around. Thats my input on MMJ for pain and depression from my experience.Good luck to all and happy growing
Peace
