Do you need a Mother?

Do you actually need a mother or can you keep taking clones from clones right before you put them into bloom?

You can take clones from clones. The plants will be weaker with each generation. It's best to keep at least one strong mom.

i would keep a mother that way you can guarantee quality. but not everyone enjoys the same cup of tea..( or tea at all.. figuratively speaking.)

From what I am reading, some people here are saying that there is no degradation from clones.

I can't remember where I read it...but I do believe that there is a genetic breakdown noticeable after the 3rd to 6th generation.

I am sure it is better to have a mother plant but my friend does this every harvest. You can just set up a flourescent in a closet and keep them alive until their parents are done. If you don't have room then go for it.
