I find this an odd question
Not all 600/1000s are created equal
A 600 with poor red spectrum is worse than a 1000 with better red spectrums
It is in your best interest to learn about lighting
You didn't bother to provide any input, but instead nitpick.
Odd, seriously? I can think of a lot more odd questions to ask.
This is a "what do you prefer question"? Pretty straight forward.
I have been growing indoors since 2008, I was just looking to get other experienced grows perspectives. I have obviously done my own research according to some examples I originally provided. Your always welcome to refute them! as that would add something that is actually somewhat constructive. Nitpicking and pointing your finger doesn't get us anywhere.
Most grow bulbs should be designed in a way that promotes plant growth and growers know this and they buy those bulbs with enhanced spectrums. If they don't they are likely not experienced.
Everyone knows no two things are created equally if you want to get that specific. No two bulbs are exactly the same. Some bulbs fail sooner then others. But this is a general question and that level of critique is unwarranted.
How would you normalize this question while keeping it as simple and straight forward as possible?
Answer the original question with some level of insight/depth.
It is in your best interest not to be a nitpicker. I know plenty about lighting, this was an opinion pole of what growers personally prefer.
