i think its funny that the general theme here is "stealing is scummy so i don't steal unless it's music". stealing music is like insurance or tax fraud. everyone does it and it's built into the price. doesn't make it any less "bad". i'm pretty sure it actually makes it worse. you are actively participating in something you know will result in an overall price increase and additional security headaches for everyone. whether you agree with the industry or politics doesn't matter in the least.
 
No just no but HELL NO. Some piece of shit stole my GPS out of my car last week. The most worthless pieces of shit in the world are thieves.

Piracy isn't theft. If you're a (in real life) thief, you're a scumbag and I hope you lose your hands in a car accident, and then get some weird disease where you have to jerk yourself off or you will die.

If artists can afford a mansion and multiple nice cars then they are doing just fine. I will always download music illegally for this reason.

I won't ever steal from your "average joe" or a retail store though.
 
Piracy - they can go fuck themselves. First off the industry as a whole has alot of balls to have actors who make millions for doing their job talk down to people about stealing their movie, like I'm supposed to feel bad about it when I know they damn sure didn't have a problems making millions off a movie, while other workers got paid dirt shit. (known people in production, most don't get paid worth a damn) They can act like its hurting the little guys to, but if that were the case, they could easily lop off a mill from the lead actor to cover it.

Stealing from people, like possessions, thats a whole different matter. That is straight fucked up.

Making copies of money increases the overall money supply. You are directly stealing buying power from people with legitimate money.
