Some are recycled crap nowadays but I have a real passion for animation made with intelligence and heart.Huge fan of anime and CGI movies providing they are not all style and no substance. I think Disney's Lilo and Stitch was a fantastic return to form, down to them using watercolor backgrounds as with Snow White. Animation pushes the boundaries of imagination, and I think the possibilities of animation also push live action movies to experiment with their pacing, angles and cinematography, as with the Matrix trilogy copying the visual style of Ghost in the Shell. What made it profound was the attempt at doing things in live action that are usually left to the realm of animation.
