Do you switch to flower light in growing auto's

Have asked before but got answers BUT not to the question asked. Understand that auto's need 18/6 some use 24/0. But in the 1st 3 weeks does one use "daylight bulb,- 5000K and then at week 4 to harvest switch to a "soft light" (24000k) Just like type of lighting used by "regular" plants

You are running the same bulb thu-out grow? Great looking plants (dual spectrum or specific "K" bulbs" Sorry for the stupid question

For some reason I thought you were talking about CFLs. harris, you can run HPS all the way through or MH all the way through. Also you should look into ceramic metal halides. They combine the mh and the hps spectrum at high CRI (in the 80s-90s). They make 830s (80s cri with 3000K) or 942 (90s cri with 4200K). Either are good

Way to complicated for me dude. I've grown under nothing but a bunch of 27watt cfl's doubled up in a bathroom light fixture from Home Depot! Still use it for popping seedling.... I could be wrong, but like most of the stuff pushed for growing weed is over complicated and hyped up to sell to guys like you and me. Same deal with bass fisherman and BassPro, duck hunter and Mack's Prairewings, get my drift? Think of it as a tomato plant and try to grow big tomatoes.... I am sure there are equations about all the spectrum stuff but how much of a difference do you really think it's gunna make at this level of growing? I agree there are the breeders here that are much most scientific than myself but then again we aren't hunting the same duck. Make of it what you want. You set your own goals my friend. Piddling around yesterday with a buzz and decided waiting on that order from Herbies will take longer than I wanna wait so I dropped a few beans I had in the shot glasses. This morning I put em in paper towels and zips and stashed for a couple of days. Here's what this one is gunna be about. All freebies. I have no background on. I soaked me a brick and a little block of coco in ph'd well water and added a bag of perlite. I mixed the water with the same nutes I used on the 2 Fast, Cash crop and Freeze Berry. Lined my 3 gal home made air buckets with the good old Wal-Mart bags, filled with my coco will let em sit a day or 2 until I put the seedling in a rockwool block, soaked in nute solution, put in the coco.

Rockwool starter cube
Coco/ perlite
3 gal air pots
1000w hps
10 x 10 grow room

Flora Nova Bloom 1 tsp gal
Cal Mag Plus 1/2 tsp gal

My girls are fed daily and the nutes will be increased as size will dictate. I was feeding the 2 Fast 2 tsps per and I believe she could have taken more. Rather tread lightly until I get my feel for it. I have messed up more than one grow helping too much. Should increase my lighting soon.
