Do you think I stress my plants ?

i have 7 buckets for my 3 bucket DWC. 3 for growing, 3 for mixing and preparing nutes, and one for putting the plant in when im switching buckets.

bad advice all the way around man.
all kinds of undesired pathogens grow in res water care to share the link of the ppm meter that reads that high, been looking for one. maybe change your battery too
I do it all the time, just keep your rez temp in the 60's also
people say OMG you cant take your ppm above 1500 in rez also WRONG. i run my rez at 1-4k Veg 5-8k during flower
people keep spreading this garbage about how you have to change your rez. WRONG. also you cant prune during flower also WRONG...
Pruning is fine during flower

I hear ya, been there with flood and drain too. but for best results I found following directions worked best for me.
sometimes things work out ok for awhile and thats good. Whatever works for you is best for you, dont change a thing if it works for you. After some time things went terribly wrong, but a weekly res change put an end to that for me.

this-"-The wastes that the plants produce tend to build up over time and need to be changed out. Also you will have an increasing percentage of your ec/ppm that is unavailable to the plants over time. The plants can't ever take up 100% of what you give them (not all the salts will break apart so the plants can take them up) and new molecules of various kinds will create themselves in that chemical soup that the plants will never have access to. Your NPK ratios will also increasing be off from the ideal."

its pioneers like you that pave the easy road for the rest of us, please continue!

cool bro,

through out time waste is burned out and diluted with topping off weekly.

They convert a lot of their waste into useful substances through photosynthesis. Gaseous wastes are excreted during respiration through the plant's stomata and root cell walls. At night, when photosynthesis cannot occur, excess water is released through the tips of the leaves.

think of your rez as a super tea, giving the roots what they want when they want with plenty of it. why change this golden tea lol. Every 3 days just add 5 gallons of fresh water and every 10 days add full nutrients

IMO not a good idea to go too long between res changes. I have done so in the past as I wanted to be thrifty with nutes, but my yield was a lot less. The wastes that the plants produce tend to build up over time and need to be changed out. You are better off doing regular changes and just using cheaper powdered nutes like the Jacks 321 formula. Greengenes shows the recipe on his channel, its a tried and true method by many growers:

Growmau5 also did a side by side with Jacks 321 against the Millenium lineup and saw no basically no difference in yield:

You have any experience doing 1.3EC from seed?

My flower is at 1.3EC now and some buckets are rising slightly. These are big plants. Cant imagine feeding a seed 1.3EC
