I'm on day 49, tomarrow I will start the 8th week of 12/12. I'm just wondering if they will be good to chop on the 6th of december, I would love to have some good smoke for x-mas.

I do have a mic BTW, just wanted to know your thoughts based on appearance.

I love the idea of having some Christmas bud. Most of my hybrid plants are ready in the 10 week range. You should be good by Dec 6.
If they're not ready then, why not just take a couple of branches down? It's going to be close enough to being ready and you can just cut the rest later on.

get a small microscope and check the trichs... if there clear. it wont be very strong... let them decarboxilate (turn amber) and then take those ladies down. Looks vrey nice tho. great job.

What is the strain? thats things pretty sweet lookin dude looks kinda sativa, By lookin at pictures the best anyone can do is guess, you got the mic. thats the only way to tell, what percentage clear/cloudy/amber are the trichs now? If you know how the trichs work as far as the kind of buzz you get from the color of them, its gonna have to be more of a self preference than trich maturity. How long after you switched to 12/12 did the plant show sex? If it took 2 weeks to show then youd be starting your 6th week of flower now. Know what im sayin?

OG Kush and they are definitely indica they have big fat fan leaves.

They are cuttings I got off of a buddy so they already had preflowers.

Well checked the trichs today and mostly all cloudy and a few amber, all the bottom buds don't seem to be rippening up like the top ones I might say "F" it and harvest on dec 6th regardless. I'm prepping for my next grow and i'm ready to get this one over with, they are looking better though will post some pics tomarrow.

Dude, by the look of the hairs on her i'd leave her another week or 2 yet.
Easily be ready for x mas tho man. lucky fucker! lol my girl is 3 1/5 weeks in flower today. No greenary for me this x mas :sad:
P.S she looks lush!

Thanks for the input bro, I will make my mind up on thursday wether I should chop or not I most likely will though I have to get my next grow started asap and I've already sampled her and the high is amazing. Dec 6th will mark day 60 and I really don't want to go past that date.

You got a journal going?
