I use SST's in my living organic soil, works great so far, I use malted barley as my seeds and sprout them in about 3 days.

Excuse me I use sprouting barley, you are correct the malted stuff just grind it up and good to go.Malted seed are seeds that already sprouted then are dried at about 110 degrees for a day. You just puree then add to water and aerate for an hour . So no need to sprout them. They're already sprouted
The SST's have a lot of enzymes and plant growth proteins I am unsure if that powder has the same, I use the seeds.Or am I missing the natural growth hormones with the purchased product, hormones I know are in the fresh made SST?
I've used beer!!!!!!The products everyone mentions sound like they work well, but there is no need to go to that expense to add enzymes. mix a tablespoon of maple syrup, coconut water, mountain dew or just spit into a gallon of water and you'll add enzymes. Chew a piece of fruit first if you're going to use your spit. You could even use beer. Guinness works best.
