Does anyone grow with an Aerogarden? If so does it work well?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone uses a Aerogarden to grow? I have a few lowryder seeds. And dont have time to set up my closet cause we are moving but I dont want to be out of cannabis so I was thinking about buying a aerogarden to grow my lowryder seed. So anyone have any advise??

Good ? wanted to know that myself. Read an artical in high times that said u could but next page had add for it so will check back to see what everyone else thinks

not to condone it or anything but yeah they got their own section, they work but you could build your own setup at a fraction of the cost and would be much more efficient imho, but here ya go

I have been growing herb in my aerogarden. it works, it's hella tricky, but it's pretty self sufficient after like the first week or so. the packaged nutrient tablets are suspect and I don't like them much but they do have a ph buffer in them for tap water. and you have to flower at 6 inches or so, so they don't get out of control. my opinion "heh you can do better with something else" but it works

I originally thought about getting an aerogarden when I first looked into growing. A few things to keep in mind though...

1) You'll need a pro or deluxe model, which will run at least $170 new

2) Aerogarden bulbs only provide 1350 lumens per bulb, and not all of that hits the plants

3) For ideal growth conditions, you will STILL need to make a climate/light controlled box. You'll need this not only to reflect light and provide ventilation, but I doubt you are able to just have your weed plants chilling out in plain view.

For about the price of an aerogarden I built the stealthbox in the pic, where I'm starting to germ some seeds. I spent extra money for 105w CFLs, but you could stack up on lower wattage bulbs for cheaper. That money includes everything: cabinet (which i can LOCK), pots, fixtures, soil, ph meter, nutes. For less than $100 I can convert it into a bubbleponic setup, and about 1/3 of that is for the nutes.
