I estimate that it costs me 80 dollars a month to run a 1000 watt for 18 hours per day. My cost per kWh is 14.8 cents. Once I'm in flower and running 12/12, it's a more reasonable cost.
Ohh you use plants just starting to flower for pics. Dude you can get that far on 660nm blue only just fine. It's the last couple weeks of flower than counts.
Depends on grow space but to get good at growing a 600w would be Perfect. With a cool tube. And a ducted fan.
Nice pic. There are several things that dictate how large yields folks get. Light is important as is a number of other issues. I am not nor would I ever say KindLED are the best lighting because I know there are other types and lights better, depending on what your budget, grow area, type of grow your looking for etc......However; When peeps shred companies unfairly it isn't in good taste. My point is if KindLED was in your words shit...there would not be a large number of folks using them and are happy with them.
I've already answered this question twice. I'll say it again. 1x1000w HPS is prefect for that grow space.
They're using epiled. That's about 20% efficient. HID is more efficient than that. So kind is pretty bad. They're shit Chinese panels that are way over priced. They do great In Veg because plants don't need much light to veg. But they're not good in finishing flowering. Their website is full of utter BS. Lots of people don't study and learn what is legit and what is just a falsely advertised led that sounds good. Which is pretty much every led panel light sans California light works and Fluense. Yes, I have seen your rants on KindLED on other threads as well. I just wanted to put out an alternative view. There are all types of lighting available, some are better than others. If the KindLED lightening was so bad there would not be the number of happy customers as there are using them. I personally find them very flexible for all stages of grow, less expensive than many others to use and easy to manage heat in the tent. I am happy with KindLED.

LEDs are gunna cost you just the same with the multiple panels you need to cover that 6.5x6.5 area...
I'm using 4-200s for a total of 800w to cover a 5x5. You can see it in that picture. So yeah you'd be fine.
