Hmm, any thoughts on some sort of automation?
Raspberry pi + relay + PSU + peristaltic pump?
Pi - $40
Relay for 8 pumps - $12
Dual output meanwell powersupply(PSU) for Pi(5v) and Pumps(12v) - $20
Peristaltic Pumps - $12ea x 8?
I currently run Mycodo software on my pi and monitor my PH, EC and temps of my RDWC reservoir and currently just have 2 peristaltic pumps hooked up but plan on expanding between my next grow to 7 pump. Currently just have PH Up and PH Down so that I could monitor and adjust while out of town. Sensors will crush the value of this so if you don't have the money, don't look at that lol. I probably paid $450 for my 3 sensors and boards to connect those but they were mostly plug and play vs generic Chinese ones that have a shorter life and need some troubleshooting.
But anyways - For the pumps, I can send how many ml of up and down I want pumped into my system and can do it from my phone. I'm sure there's a way to trigger a program to pump "flower" "veg" or "seed" programs as well. It's pretty open source but even just entering in the ML of the solution you want is easier than tipping, pulling, looking, pouring, cleaning?
Create like a soda station with shot glasses under each tap and punch in the mls to disperse and dump into your reservoir.
Just to follow up, there is a "function" option where you could build in some sort of standard output, lets say for like 10gallons, input all the MLs you want each pump to output for a standard 10 gallon and hit the "execute all options". save this function and you'll be able to run the exact same function each time you plan to water with 10 gallons... (Again, I only have 2 pumps hooked up so I can't really show further than that)
