KP2 Well-Known Member Apr 26, 2009 #2 doesn't matter. intensity is ten times more important than spectrum.

KP2 Well-Known Member Apr 26, 2009 #4 won't matter. ie, i find it much simpler to use 1k hps lighting for everything. i buy bulbs by the case. the spectrum isn't as important as the intensity, so i'd skip on the blue and go with the red (which will promote greater flower potential).
