If i cut off the bottom branches off before i flower will it force the top branches to bud more? increase yeild?
Does cutting off bottom branches force more energy to top branches for bud ing

Completely depends how you do it. Preventing multiple colas or side buds from forming will indeed increase the budding on the top branches.
However simply removing branches right before flowering will likely result in an overall decreased yield.
There is nothing wrong with multiple colas, and in many environments they are preferable and will add weight versus a single cola.

i do it with my rose bushes and i get roses a little quicker. i would only cut off the very bottom branches that are not going to get much light. i've harvested the top before and let the bottom branches go a little longer, seems to help turn those little popcorn buds get a little bigger/denserIf i cut off the bottom branches off before i flower will it force the top branches to bud more? increase yeild?

why then when you lolipop them it forces the main cola to be bigger?

you should look into fimming, your main cola will be huge. in the sea of green you cut all the secondary branches and have one main cola to the plant but you need a bunch of plants to make that worth while. at this late in the grow you should only cut off anything that is dead on your plant
