Does growing make you "happy"?

So, I was thinking about this the other day. I have been growing stuff for my entire adult life. I look outside at my backyard and I am already planning my spring garden. When I was a teenager I planted random bag seeds, just to watch them grow. Now I am in my 50's and I'm growing stuff like hot peppers and squash in the summer and kush, diesel, and glue all year long. I'm a medical patient with a legal grow.

I am the type who is depressed when there is nothing to harvest or nothing new to try. I am now working a perpetual harvest, just for that reason. I also learned about cobs and spent the last year replacing all my HPS with an array of cobs.

I grow both of those and I'm only happy once they are converted into cash. Other than that they are time consuming which is something I have little of out side of work.

I'm retired and only able to keep a marijuana garden going from September to February. My wife and I take regular vacations and I don't like to have anyone come in the house to watch my plants. I'm not an outside gardener. I'm in an illegal state. Growing does make me happy. If I could grow cannabis outside I would.

i love growing all types of plants.....it's therapy for me.....nothing more relaxing imo....i'd rather pull weeds in the veggy garden then watch a football game....

Nothing makes me more happy than growing...ok ..well maybe sex

I'm with you, I'm happy when it's converted into cash. I do take great pride in my product, but it's pretty much just a job for me now. I run a perpetual and harvest every two weeks, oftentimes I just fucking dread harvest week. So much work. My op is cookie-cutter at this point, and cranks out 4 amazing phenos for my custies. It's all dialed in, and doesn't really change much. I still enjoy it more than anything else I could do, except music. I'm not complaining, it's a nice life overall...

I was away for a day and just got home. My fruiting chamber EXPLODED and my Critical Kush finished up. It's like I was gone for a week! Keep on growing, yea, yea, yea!

Absolutely.

Well it certainly makes me happy .
No better way to unwind than puffing a fatty of delicious broccoli you have manufactured from day 1.
I find it to be very rewarding in a plethora of ways.

F*k yeah, my indoor garden is my zen space, the only space I have where I can be totally alone, only me and my plants. Besides the obvious benefits of MJ, the therapeutic value of my indoor garden is as beneficial imo. I grow outdoor too but it's not the same as walking into my flower room and closing the door, ahhhhh, f*k off outside world! lol

Growing makes me happy. Growing better than I did last time makes me happy. Giving someone something I grew and watching them makes me happy. Teaching someone something about growing makes me happy. Strangely enough, I'm pretty happy these days!
