does how many lights you have on affect the plants

i have just set up my grow box(chester draws and is quite happy but id like to know if i add another cfl light will the plants grow faster ?

Usually more lights means more area and more light. It also means more heat and more electricity. One 30 w CFL is good for a 1"1" area, mainly for the top of the plant, about 5 inched from the top. You can use that to build upon to determine what you want/need.

i only have one cfl hung from the top i have no problem with heat as all of the heat is sucked out by a mini squirrel cage fan so how many lights do you reccomend ?
