Does it make a difference if?

I grow the vegging doners/mothers to flowering size and take the clones, and put the doner/mother into flowering room, then let the clones become mothers and so on in the veg room.
I know to get rid of any plants that show male sex in flowering room, then I would just get rid of the clones that came from it.

Why do most posters keep mothers and just create clones for the flowering room?

I will be using a drip system for vegging and ebb and flow for flowering. I just thought I would start with a few more than needed to account for the ones that were male and after the first sexing I would be good to go with having only female clones. I am trying a mixure of good bag seeds, SirSpeedy Killa
Watt, and Thai Skunk Haze.

So my question is why not flower the original mother's since they are bigger and the new clones should be ready when the mother's harvested.

thats how i do it..i clone every clone right before it goes 12/12 i take 5-6 or more from the lower branches and i top them too but the top die more of the time.

The more you clone from clones the weaker the DNA becomes (like re-recording over a video tape). Its good to keep taking clones from the same mother for as long as possible to keep the strain strong. I've been growing my strain for almost 3 years now. Its still growing great and I haven't noticed a drop in potency but I am getting tired of the same stuff all the time.

Also the reason you take from the same mother is you dont have any more Males to deal with. Your still talking about males, they should be weeded out before you begin cloning. If your constantly taking random clones you will end up with runts as well as nice plants. Once one is identified to have nice traits you want to multiply this one exactly each time by cloning a MATURE plant not young clones from clones, This is like cloning children who have not even developed yet, you dont know what you will get as there will be differences which may suck such as small ass flowers and huge stem on one and the next may have skinny stems that cant even hold up the flowers but grown under same conditions. Whatever you do always try to take clones from a Mature female and dont do the clone while young so you can12/12 and then revert back to veg just to see what sex they are, this is the worst way to clone. A good established Mother can be kept for many years, what do you think your buying from breeders? they arent selling you clones but bet your ass they are selling seeds from the same mother or father for years

I don't think I will be able to go more than 2 or possibly 3 flowering cycles per year. It's just too cold a few months of the year. So, I plan to veg until a few feet tall. Take a few clones from each plant. Put the larger vegged plants into flowering room, where the females will spend the next few months. Any males that show will be removed, along with their clones in the veg room. When the flowering plants are finished, the clones from them will be at least two months old in the veg room. I will then take clones from them and they should all be female now and put the two month old clones in the flowering room. I will have to shut down sometime in November and start again in the Spring of the next year from seed.
