does it matter if bottom half of plant is getting no light?

my plants have grown quite big and they are bunched together because not much room all the decent buds are getting light but when i look underneath the bottom half leaves are dying off and there isnt any light going through. top half and buds look very healthy

best thing to do it lollypop them. Just trim all of the bottom branches at the stem. Leave the top portion of the plant alone. By removing all of that small growth from the lower half the plant will now put all energy into thetop half of the plant. thus forming better buds.

this is going to happen you could trim lower limbs off or supply light under the cannapy
