Does it smell?

I was thinkning of growing in my basement, so i was just wondering if it smelled alot while it was growing? Could i grow it without my dad smelling it?

unless you use charcoal filters or your dads' nose is broken you better go get the belt.

There are ways to filter the smell. But grow in your basement without your dad knowing? Doesn't he go down there?

Connecting a Carbon scrubber is a good method of controlling the odor that can be a dead giveaway to an otherwise stealthy installation. A carbon scrubber is simply an expansion chamber (box) into which the smelly air from a flower chamber is pumped. The chamber has a large exhaust vent, which is covered by an activated carbon air filter. The chamber must be big enough to provide a damping effect of the incoming air. If too small a scrubber is used, the fan will not be capable of pushing air through the filter. Here, you actually want the exhaust vent to be considerably bigger than the intake.

hi you need to weigh up the siuation really ,is it worth gettin caught by your dad ? would he chuck u out ? ive done a couple of shady grows in my parents house when i was younger and hid the smell quite well from 1 plant using air freshners etc but they knew i smoked then and i smoked in the room i was growing and i allso knew they wouldnt of kicked me out if i had of been caught .i allso think in the usa its different than the uk ? do the police prosecute the home owner there instead or aswell as the grower ?if so its not worth getting your dad in trouble .
