Does making cannabis oil with alcohol waste weed

I like making dry sift and ended up with 340g of the pot that I'd screened for kief. Sitting in a 1gal pickle jar soaking in methyl hydrate for the last two days. A buddies wife has just had a cancerous tumor removed from her left tit and was using RSO he makes for her with a long soak in ISO or Everclear. Methanol will work fine and is a lot easier to get. I'll do a separation with naphtha to clean it up and give them most of it. Gave her about 180mls of strong cocobudder last week to tide her over and keep the THC flowing in her veins.

Got a bunch of fresh off the plant frozen sugar trim and popcorn in the deep freeze I'll do a coconut oil infusion with for real fresh meds. Was going to make BHO and mix that with the 250ml jar of keif I'm sitting on to make my "Honey Hash" with but when a friend needs meds you change course as needed.

1)Either way warm everclear wash & winterize or not, enough everclear & u get about, 1 oz herb=5-5.75 grams 25-27% oil yield, black oil (if dewinterize yield falls to about 4./4.5 grams).

2)Dryice method hands down my favorite-Dryice in cooler with herb in one jar everclear in another, once temp reaches about -45 mix two together for 20-60 min., leave in cooler covered agitate now & then.
Then strain through UN bleached coffee filter into Pyrex dish.

(Produces 14-16% yield of golden joy, after alcohol is evaporated, I like natural evap in sun with cheese cloth on top. I mix 2:1 with Puff magic—2 oil 1 Puff Magic. Use a left over Penzzi spice jar 11/2” x 11/2” thick glass on a coffee warmer to boil off the remaining alcohol & heat to mix your Puff with (Puff is just an emulsifier PG & PEG), you will end up with about 6 grams & can fill 12 .5 vape cartridges, plastic syringe to fill your vape cartridge. (tried mct oil as a mixer no thanks) fill a C Cell cartridge —
$3 or so now on Amazon with 2 mm intake oil holes & a vape pin (Amazon $6-8-10 or so, I prefer the adj voltage one with 4.0 volts keeps temp under 400f- the safe zone)Done

( Honestly I will Never try another method...I’ve done many.)Also if doing more than above 1 oz. u may consider an alcohol reclaim unit saves 90% of alcohol cost. Toothpick for stiring in jar & silicon stir spatula also great tools to use (buy 3 pack & u can cut them up depending on what size jars !!!).
Also recently I bgt an oil mat, when my alcohol wash is down to about
2 oz I will pour it out onto the mat in a smaller Pyrex bowl and evaporate
then place in a jar in the freezer, once frozen it’s easy to work with I’ll
Put it into the Pinnzi jar mentioned above & finish the above listed steps. Easy as pie.
