Does my plant look healthy?

Hey every one, just wanting opinions on wether or not my plant looks healthy? And if my soil is ok? She has been in this soil for 3 days now and i havent noticed a negative effect at all. But people are telling me to change my soil?? My plant looks small because the first 4/5 weeks it had rather weird light times. one day it had 3 hours the next 17 ect... And 3 days it was kept in dark while i worked at a different location. Then another 3 days in dark once again a couple weeks after. But shes on 18/6 now and has seemed to start getting better and growing better. My leafes have no defects but i am a bit worried about the purple/red stem? The soil has Nutes already in there so nutrients arent a issue. Also people complain about my lighting but iv had worse lighting in previous grows and have done fine with big healthy plants. Any ideas/suggestions or thoughts? Thanks. It looks really tiny for being 5 weeks old. I normally switch to flowering between 4-6 weeks and that's even after topping. Leaves are very yellowish. What kind of soil are you using? What kind of water and PH level? What strain? Why so many light probelms? Seems like that did a Good number on her. Out of 5 weeks it's had 6 full days of darkness. If it's not an autoflower, I'm sure it's like WTF is going on?!?You also said she's only been in this soil for three days. Did you just transplant? What soil was it in before?

Il try my best to answer. Previously before i transplanted, i had it in standart dirt from outside. It was quite sandy and had no added nutes so probably wasnt the best. I just bought a plant from a gardening shop and then took that plant out and put my weed in it haha. The soil i have now im not too sure what kind it is but its quite barkey as you can see but i havent noticed any problems. It seems to like its home now. Yes the leaves are quite Light green? Any advice on that? And just standard tap water and rain water as it rains alot here so i leave a cup out side to fill and water it with that. And as for the strain, i got some shake off a make (Mostly leaf but a bit of bud) The leafs were getting me high lol so i guess the strain is decent.. Im not a lightweight either iv been smoking for about 7 years.. If i keep it on 18/6 , will it give it a helping hend and bring it back to life? In a sence? And after its 4th, 5th set of fan leafs will it be safe to top it?

sometimes plants are runty and grow super slow... happens a lot with bagseed. I usually wait until there are new side branches forming out of the nodes before topping.

Oh my goodness, I figured it was something like that. I think your in pretty bad shape when you combine the light problems plus the soil problems you described. That soil you have now looks like complete junk - no offense. Your plant needs a high quality soil with perlite so it has good drainage. You need to go online and buy some good soil, just google the best ones. Hell, even the highest quality organic soil at your local stores is better than what you have. Do you leave your tap water out for at least 24hrs? Do you PH balance it? I think you can recover this plant, but it's going to be rough and take a long time. Yes, keep it on 18/6 all the time! If it does start to recover I imagine you will have to keep it veg for a long time. Oh and for the yellowing it's needs nutes. If you re-pot into a nutrient rich soil that could correct itself, hopefully.

I have said in a previous post that iv grown in worse soils and have had very good grows and harvests.. The soil is fine. Its only been in there for 3 days. So it will still be getting used to it. About a week iv read it takes a plant to get used to its new soil after transplanting. And i live in new zealand we do things differently here than to america ect... I live on a farm also so nitrogen is easy to get, we have loads of cow poo, urea, pro jib ect... I wont be putting urea in my soil but if thats the last option then so be it. .

lol very funny.. But seriously, say if left it in veg for the next 3 1/2 - 4 weeks, then started budding, would i get a decent amount? Not a pound lol , obviously... But say 5-10 decent joints worth? THATS if its female... If not looks like itl have to be hash... Or leaf joints lol

You came here asking for help so that's my advice. You took a house plant from a garden store, took it out and used that soil for your plant. If you think that's fine, then I don't think we can help you at this point.

It doesn`t matter what part of the world you live in, good growing starts with preparation. For instance, that soil should go through a kitchen blender a few times and maybe rip open a stuffed animal and mix that in pretty well, before using it.

When you have good soil prep, good feeding, good lighting and good location ..all before you start any plant ... you wont be doing much during the veg season.

At five weeks that thing should be up to five or seven finger leafs. On yours you can count two injuries and three different stocks. Off to a bad start........Problems understanding and paying attention to good advice will net you moderate growing skills.

A slow growing plant still grows slowly during flower, a fast paced grower explodes with flower during flowering season. That should answer your yield question.
