wish i could say the same for n.ireland it pisses alotYour right, rain doesn't hurt pot plants while their vegging, but late in flower, it can cause mold and mildew, and lower quality period. But hard, continuous rain will keep em' from producing properly, that's another reason Norcal is a great place to grow, cause it doesn't rain all summer for the most part.
ahem...bullshitit does lower potency by beating the resin that contain thc off of the plant.
Rain can certainly cause problems. Being constantly overwatered and lack of sunlike like you said are two of them. Just plain physical damage caused by storms is another. I think the OP was wondering more about losing resin. Maybe it does, I don't know for sure, but I have to say some of the best weed I ever smoked was outdoor. It can even have a better smell and taste than plants grown indoors too IMO.Ya'll obviously don't live in oregon, rain will beat the shit out of your plants knocking a fuck load of the sticky off and its a big problem when it never stops raining or rains everyday, they're constantly overwattered and never get sunlight.
Yeah, you're right I don't live in Oregon.Ya'll obviously don't live in oregon, rain will beat the shit out of your plants knocking a fuck load of the sticky off and its a big problem when it never stops raining or rains everyday, they're constantly overwattered and never get sunlight.
I just read this a bunch of times on different pages... have to say... it depends on the hardness of the rain and the temperature. if it is colder the trchomes are more snappy. if it's warm the triches are more bendy. also it depends on windspeed. straight down rain is obviously less violent than splash against window rain.it does lower potency by beating the resin that contain thc off of the plant.
