Lst.......
done teh same thing everytime i lst as well. i was just trying to do a scrog, but if veg time is longer then i cant deal with that lol.scrog is a little easier because as the plant grows u just move the branches to the farthest square they can reach....lst is a pain because as the plant grows u have to release tension on shoots or give more tension on shoots.....kinda bcomes a chore.......last time i LST'd i just lstd till i switched to 12/12 and then released all the strings and was probably the best outcome of lst ive experienced
Good advice here ^^^Yeald id effected by many factors but in generalnmore roots more fruits. So more root mass better yeald. General rule of thumb is 1 gal is about a oz of product. That's obviously depending on growers skill. But a good general way to look at it. Also depends on canopy size if you have enough small pots to fillthe space up properly you will average .5lb for 400w in a 3x3, 1lb for 600w in a 4x4, and 1.5 lb for a 1000w in a 5x5. Canopy has to be full or you won't get close to goals. Also on the other end of that is If you did a 600 in a 3x3 your yield more then likely won't increase much if at all. You must have ample space per wattage spent or yeald won't change much. If you do the small pots youprob end up doing a lot of watering since it eats itupfaster. Usually when I transplant from dixie cup I go to gal then I always go 3x larger for nexttransplant. So 1 gal to 3 gal, 3 gal to 10, 10 to 30 and so on depending on size goal before flippingto bloom. It's not recommended for example to go from a 1 gal to a 2 or a 3 gal to a 5. It isn'tmuch of a upgrade for the plant be like goingfrom a value size drink to a small. Other factors is heat and humidity. If your not using co2 I would keep the heat 70 to 75 depending on strain. Also I never flip a sickly or stressed plant until it's pulled put of the problem and has been good for a week. If you start a sad plant you will get cap growth and yeald. Hope this helps keep trucking at it you will get it figured out.
^^^^^It will increase the yield but comes at a sacrifice of veg time. It also works best with plants that provide plenty of branching, some strains seems to grow more vertically regardless of the training.
thats how big i made the space its actually 20Lx15Hx6D my total vert space is just over 30" with out raising my light.i hate dealing with that . so i raise my pots up and down pots are exactly 9"x9"
