Hey guys,
First grow, first post.
I'm wondering if I should chop this girl or wait a week. The strain is grapefruit; all organic outdoor grow in socal. I'm just really struggling at the moment with determining ripeness. The buds a swollen, a large amount of hairs are brown and turned in. I have a 30x loupe and a 60-100x scope, but I don't see that much of a glaring difference between milky and clear, and were wondering if these buds will still fatten or if they're at peak potency. Some of the sugar leaves trichomes have ambered but not too much in the buds, there are a few spots of amber forming here and there but they vary from bud to bud, and I'm not talking about top buds vs bottom, I mean right next to each other on the same cola. Let me know what you guys think! Its appreciated! Namaste! Grow well!
Added bonus: The last 4 photos are of my sour diesel, which I'm pretty confident I'm going to wait a bit for, it has no amber that I saw, looks a bit glassy and it says the strain should finish early November in my area. Let me know what you think!
P.S.S. the white powder on my fan blades is not mold, its diatomaceous earth, and it works great as an organic pesticide if "puffed" onto the leaves. Just don't puff it in your lungs or face tehehehe. Thanks again guys!
