Does tap water kill plants?

I let the water sit 10 20 min after fish drops before nutes. I have forgotten and had2 5 gal buckets with 4 gal water side buyside did one with waiting and one without the fist bucket wound up around 800 ish and the one I waited wound up 900 ish so I could see how not waiting could mess with your results

I can't state this as fact but I remember reading chloramin had to b removed chemically and that your plant needs traces of it but I could b wrong it showed ho cityy water could use chlorine or chloramin

Yes i believe so, chlorine can be added to water as a gas or solid, chlorine gas evaporates out and chloramides are solids so stay in the water.

Dont miss the point though as i doubt either of these two are added in large enough amounts to hurt us or plants.

I know i can come across a douche but i thought this would inspire someone to research and post some real world answers not just a debate.

Q1- What concentration/ppm of chloramides is dangerous to humans and plants?

Q2- Why is chlorine so much more dangerous to fish keepers than plants?
