Does Temp Effect H20 Cure??

In what ways could temperature effect the Water curing process? Would storing in the fridge produce a smoother Smoke?

keepin the water cold keeps the thc in stasis. anythin warmer would break it down and youd have less potent buds.

keep it room temperature i'd think, but wait to hear from someone who's done it. to warm and the thc will slowly break down but too cold and the trichs will become brittle and fall off when touched/moved (ice water is one way of making hash after all).

the temp while regularly curing is neutral so i'm guessing water is very similar
