Does this happen to anyone else??

When I'm extremely stoned and when not too much is happening at the moment(chillin, listening to music, loadin' another bowl, etc.) I sometimes space out. This is where my mind starts racing through a million different thoughts at once and when my mind gets fixed on one I start zoning out. At this point the reality of my thought starts unfolding in my mind and I swear, I feel like it turns into a visual dream, and when a friend gets my attention to tell me, "dude, what the fuck are you staring at?" The moment this happens, its like waking up from a dream. I'm not too sure if its just an extreme case of daydreaming or what, but these thoughts seem so vivid and clear, just like a dream would be. And now I'm starting to wonder if its my brain releasing a hint of DMT (For those of you that are unaware. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyltryptamine). Most of the time its a good thought, but at times my paranoia gets the best of me and can play out some scary shit. I'm wondering if anybody else experiences this as well!

It doesn't happen to me ... but it sounds cool!
One of my gripes with weed is "union-assembled trains of thought". I'll be following a cognitive/ideative thought-train in a general direction of coolness, and it starts shedding "cars" until i can't for the life of me remember about what I was thinking in the first place. And then it's a freakin hand-trolly back to Platform 9 3/4 ... cn

no.

but sometimes i take a huge rip and see a kodak stillframe of a dream I had sometimes the night before, sometimes weeks or months earlier. I have taken bong rips and seen into a dream from 3 years ago that I never would have remembered otherwise. most of the dreams I am getting hit with are so vivid, that I usually go off on a rant about the whole entire dream and the design. Its been getting worse and worse and worse. To the point where I'm smoking with some random people I hardly know and start explaining in great detail the dream I had three nights ago that I never remembered until now.

DUDE! Haha I have been noticing the same thing! Makes me look insane sometimes but our own dreams are so interesting! I cant help but explain the whole thing so I dont forget it lol it always happens when I have something coming up too, like if I ate acid or mushrooms 10 minutes before the way I know its real is I spontaneously remember dreams from like days or months ago.. Ive had the multi year remembrances too :p

I go on auto-pilot sometimes and get lost in my own head when I'm really high....

I can do complex tasks and not even realize I'm doing them, while at the same time, be completely lost in my own head, seeing visualizations, going through scenarios etc.

I think it's normal? lol

Most of the time it happens when I'm thinking of how things could play out in the future, or assigning probability to different things happening in my life (but not always). It's weird how detailed and "dream-like" some of my daydreaming is. I can still react to things happening around me, but it's like my consciousness isn't there... lol

It just takes a big enough event to "snap me back"... sometimes it's hard to remember them.
