If you're gonna top bowls or roll joints with it, you're good. If wanting to dab it, probably not.
Edit: yeah, might have mixed too vigorously or maybe used a wrong bag? How did you make it? What's your process?

They moisture will change the color for sure. For topping bowls and rolling joints, dry ice hash works for me.

Too much pant matter. Which kills taste and makes it burn instead of melts.
When you make hash you have to be very gentle and wash for only 3-5 min per wash
Make sure to use all 8 bags too. Clean / rinse trichomes before drying.
Microplane to create a larger surface area and dry completely. It should take a week for the trichomes to completely dry. You want zero moisture in hash. So it doesn't mold

No it does not look OK. Sorry but cold hard truth.
How did you mix it? You only need a gentle stir with a wooden spoon. I'm guessing you used something electronic like a paint mixer?
Also how many bags in your system? I'm guessing you used a 3 bag system? 220,73 and 23? Those will never yield a pure product as you need more than just the 220 to catch contaminant. The more the better. As @hyroot already mentioned, 8 bag is where it's at. The end goal is to isolate just the glandular trichome heads and only the trichome heads.

a 120 bag should help tremendously but it's definitely doable with the 4 bags you're using. I always get some contaminant in my 120 bag, mainly capitate stalks(the trichome stalks).
Experiment with different stir times but I generally keep my stirs under 5 minutes. And very gentle with a wooden spoon. The trichome heads should break off very easily. You'd be amazed at what a 2 minute stir can do.
And when I say gentle I mean gentle. Just like poke the wooden spoon in, shift it around a couple times gently and then a little circular stir, and repeat for a few minutes.
And a pressurized spray bottle helps big time to increase the purity. Matt Rize style.
You are right, practice makes perfect. Keep trying and you'll get there!

D_urbmon is bang on with his advice. The only thing I'll add, is this method of breaking up your hash to powder. I've found my resin is a pain in the ass to microplane, it goes much easier through the seive. But different resins behave differently so I suggest trying both to see what works best for your hash.
