Does this sound like mold??

Since harvest i noticed a sticky white thing even when i dried it, after a good dry i jared it. Open the lid every hour for the first few days to check humidity by feeling lid. So far so good till i saw that white thing again. So everytime that thing appwar i seperate it and throw in butter stash. Now today is day 4-5 of cure and its starting to have a lemon smell to it like good weed smell. That white thing only appears once every other day. I dont know what that white shit is looks like tooth paste. Wjen i pick it out and rub it dissapears and turns into moisture. At first i assume mold but if it was my buds wont smell good and the mold would take over and darken my buds to black already. But my buds are still green frosty and not covered in webs just a toothpaste looking thing that appears every other day.

put some silica gel beads in the jar and seal it, you know, the type of stuff that is in sachets when you buy electrical goods to absorb moisture, this should theoretically absorb all moisture from the jars and kill the mold if that's what it is, dunno what else to suggest

The only problem I'd have with the silica is that, removing all of the moisture too fast is going to result in less than optimal curing. This white stuff looks like toothpaste? I have seen the onset of mold/rot and it creates a white hazy almost like a white fog it almost looks like it could be a really tight cluster to trichs. But I'm not sure on this toothpaste looking stuff you're seeing.

I don't know the name of the product but there is something new that just got approved for use on medical pot. It's a spray that kills/ stops rot, even after you harvest. They say it's safe to use, I'm always skeptical but could be worth a look.

I wish i can take a pic but i always inspect and remove on site so i cant show unless it appears again soon
