yeah, it sounds reasonable, but you still need to consider that plants are not humans. With so many variables the comparison is difficult to make (at least with my level of knowledge). I agree with the statement that the effects would be more debilitating over time, but only because continued exposure would increase the levels of carbon monoxide and residual build up that already occur and not because of a correlation between plants and people. Either way, even if a correlation does exist a plant that only lives for 3 to 4 months is going to suffer from exposure to some degree, and thats that. If it can totally kill a plant within a given time frame then it is obviously causing some sort of damage from the very start. Whether or not you take an effort to minimize exposure or even think it would be necessary is totally up to you. I read that you can actually wipe the leaves if it really concerns you. Might be worthwhile if you smoke around your plants and want to avoid any negative consequences. Im really trying to avoid giving out simple opinions and assumptions which seem to dominate the knowledge base here at roll it up. I dont know too much, but I feel like my advice is at least credible and not some canonical idea. So take it for what its worth, if im wrong about something let me know.
