I have to add my story to this,
my parents had a dog when I was younger, a minature snauzer that was about 11 years old and had diabetes, my parents left for the weekend and while I was out and the dog ate around a half ounce of my schwag, long story short I came home and the dog was shaking and had her eyes closed. I called the emergency vet and they said it would be ok just watch her. she laid in the same chair for 2 days and did not move, I shit you not. I felt very bad and still have not told my dad that story ( he loved the dog and even thought that was about 10 years ago I know he still would not think it was funny... but I do...
