It has enough leaf left and the stalk don't look jacked. It should be fine.

Just keep that pot head dog away and it should recover fine on it's own.

Nah, they are resilient. If the stalk is broken it wouldn't hurt to wrap it in electrician's or plumber's tape, but yours look fine.

They'll probably be stunted for a few days, but keep us updated.
Yes put a tomato cage or other barrier around it.

You need to feed your dog more. 
I caught one of mine sniffing at the leaves on my Ethiopian plant the other day. But she didn't eat any. She's an old bitch and is really picky when it comes to her food. Unlike me she doesn't care for the spicy African cuisine. Damn, now I'm hungry for some Doro Wat.

Dogs and cats both , will go for the nice smelling leaves if their food bowl is empty.
Even if it's for 10 minutes.
