Dog hair in my Kief?

I have some kief and I found dog hair, human eye lashes, (I have a medicinal microscope)


Iv used a coffee filter one of the metal ones and a paint filter.

Any ideas?

I even thought of a balloon and a comb!

Its for mediables for a cancer patient so I have to make sure its all free of this junk.

Yes its from my fucking dog its kind of funny but after an hour and some tweezers its getting not so much funny.

help lol.... this is not funny.

best you can do is a magnifying glass and some steady hands and some tweezers

than secure your room so your dog doesnt go into it

Growing in your closet, at your house, with dog hair all over, does not consitute a medical grow. You have no right trying to provide any of the kief or bud you produce to medical patients. That's highly irresponsible of you.

have you tried re-sifting it?

we use one of these, left in the freezer then shaken mechanically.


the first run has impurities (dog hard, etc) but if you clean your shaker then put the keif back ontop of the screen and re-sift it. dont sift it ALL back thru, stop when there is about 75% fallen thru and check that for hair.
it should be cleaner now, also when i scrape mine up into a glass vial with less then a 1cm opening any remaining hairs are easily spotted and removed

WestCoastCondition thanks! I have a chest freezer with a 200 gram machine that runs at 6 RPM. It takes 3 days but its 100% perfect no green matter.
Re sifting is the best idea.

Im guna make hard candy like I do every year.

I have a dog for security reasons, and I find hair in my stuff. Even with the vents screened it still makes it in. But not enough to spend an hour tweezering off hairs. Do you rinse off your buds after harvest?

I just put makeshift screens over my vents, like bandanas and window screen. Catches a lot of stuff, just get a wet cloth and wipe them off every few days. The smaller particles get through and I have to clean the vents and lights off every couple weeks. Upkeep is a part of the job though. My room is too small to use a filter and its just not worth the electricity running the high power fans.

I have found a lot of hairs in my buds over the years. Back when commercial brick was the big thing here you would find just as much hair as you found seeds lol. Now if buds have seeds motha fuckas get mad lol.

just pick it out, sucks ass. next time . strip down to your boxer shorts when you go into your flowering room. I know what your talking about. lol I seen some with dog hair as well its good to smoke gives you the munchies for hot dogs

some of the best highs I got were from smoking hairs along with your bowl cause it will make you cough and get thc where it never is and you get more bang for buck

Hopefully your dog is not a curly haired breed. I think would be real bad for business.

If any one cares It came to me,

I sifted it over the top and id say 95% came out.
I did 15 grams of kief in 15 minutes and used a paint brush to move the kief around.
