Hello all-
We adopted a new puppy today from the animal shelter, we pick her up Wednesday she needs to be fixed. She's a 6 month old pit bull mix, one light blue eye, one green/grey eye, and a perfectly egged shaped/size spot directly on the center of her head. She's super sweet, loves to chase the tennis ball, and loves the water. The kennel attendant was very happy to see her get adopted, he said she was his favorite (good salesman). He pulled her out of her kennel to show off her ball chasing/water loving skills.
Now we need a name for this gal and this is where I need the help of the RIU community. I need suggestions. We have 2 female dogs already, first is "Putter", a 13 Y.O. Rat Terrier mix (15 pound "boss" dog, she's in charge here) , and Spy-Dee, a 12 Y.O. Pointer/Border Collie mix, a 90 lbs dorky, goofy, talking (she dog talks to us), always a happy/loving dog.
Me and my son are golfers, that's how Putter got her name. Spy-Dee got her name from my then 4 Y.O. son, after the Spiderman movie 12 years ago.
Names we thought of are:
1)" Willow" just like the name
2) "Bogey" (more of a male dogs name)
3) and the current front runner is "Mulligan" it's a term in golf that means second chance, or "do-over", but again I think better fitted for a male dog.
Okay RIU members, I need U to toke'm up and send some suggestions our way for our new puppy.
Thanks 4 the help,
