Dog Treats

I used to let my oldest dog walk with me to my grow year before last. She would chew on the fan leaves. Smart dog! Man I would have been sooooo pissed if the vet had given me that advice. But I think I would have known how much salt would have been too much. Losing a pet can be as bad as losing a family member, sometimes a lot worse, depending on how big an asshole the relative was and if they owed you money. :)

if your dog gets into chocolate feed them activated charcoal... mix with canned food or there's no way they'll eat it.....

that's what they do at the vets... and they'll induce vomiting if you consent... last time i had them make my dog puke right there... rather than than have the fucker puke brown chocolate on our relatively light carpet.....

been there done that a few times....

in raw diets i've seen writeups about how beneficial garlic can be in appropriate doses (cant find the flippin link)
then in everything else i read that garlic is poison. not that i feed the dogs garlic treats but i think its all about the balance of what else is being consumed at the time and how much of the bad shit was eaten.
sorry to read those chocolate stories :(
i would love to feed raw food to the dogs but the GF says "its gross". FML. (...ya lose some.)
SO, i "balance" their diet for them as much as i can.
i keep it easy when preparing treats.
I pretty much keep my proper baking skills for my human/zombie brownies.
heres a few cool treat links
