i think they're both cool, in their own, separate ways of course.. they're very different creatures though for sure.. dogs are more of a pack animal, and enjoy being around people more, and in fact, usually crave atttention, and look at their owners for guidance..
cats on the other hand aren't any where near as domesticated as dogs, not too far off from being feral still.. and cats aren't pack animals, and cats can and do enjoy me time.. i don't blame them for that being a bit of a loner myself. cats do things on their time, and aren't bothered so much with pleasing people, good for them, people suck imvho.. cats are very independent and not needy in the least..
both make excellent pets and can be very loving and rewarding, so long as you understand a cat will never be a dog.. that's not a bad thing though imo.. cats are great if you live in an apartment, or aren't home a lot.. cats don't need you to take them outside 100x's a day.. dogs on the other hand, well shit, my dog will come in, then two seconds later want to go back out. she's a lot of work at times.. all we got to do for the cat is clean the kitty pan a few times a day or so, feed the thing, and pet and show her love when she wants it, on her own time..
