best to try to add it to soil before planting IMO having medium right from the go is key2 tbs to 1gallon of soil..i have problem with Ph, anf cause nutrient def in 3 crops. Tjis time i try to add lime and see how working
That's true. But it doesn't hurt to add more later in the grow. You just top dress it.best to try to add it to soil before planting IMO having medium right from the go is key
oh yea by all means i was just saying since op said he had same prob in 3 crops i was just suggesting a rethink of the starting mediumThat's true. But it doesn't hurt to add more later in the grow. You just top dress it.
Personally id say its not a ph issues but something else. Alot of people don't even check ph in soil grows. I only check when I add something to the water.oh yea by all means i was just saying since op said he had same prob in 3 crops i was just suggesting a rethink of the starting medium
TOO MUCH Dolomite!2 tbs to 1gallon of soil..i have problem with Ph, anf cause nutrient def in 3 crops. Tjis time i try to add lime and see how working
Run off is NOT the pH of the soil and is NOT a quality way to figure out soil pH!I did the same way before, just check ph of nutrient.since i have problem few crops and start to check run off. I don't know what is the problem, and guess that's soil Ph issue. By the way, my RH around 35%, does it harm the plant seriuously, likr stop grow, yellowing and crispy dry leaves
So then are we using it as a media for a hydro style grow? That's what your pH is saying DG.Promix is peat based so you want to ph around 5.8 - 6.2.
1 tablespoon of fine dolomite lime per gallon should be fine.
So just hand watering one should pH to 6.5 in Promix is what you are saying? So then are we using it as a media for a hydro style grow? That's what your pH is saying DG.
We don't KNOW what ProMix it is for one. The op says "Pro Mix soil". Pro mix now makes fully blended soils for a multitude of applications, not just the old BX, HP and MP!So just hand watering one should pH to 6.5 in Promix is what you are saying?
Never have issue before, just last 6 months the problem could not be solve. Light is not close, cause i put 15" away, just it's an old lamp.will it cause by overdue lampToo close to ur light source it sounds. Dry crispy leaves. What are you using for a light. Have you grown without issues for a full harvest before now?
Give you all information with pictures soon..thank you for your rwplyTOO MUCH Dolomite!

Sounds like your over feeding.
RH of 35% is too low......Remember that when your RH is low - the plant will transpire more to compensate so it won't dry out. That means it is now up-taking MORE moisture and that means MORE nutrients are going in too......
I'll bet you start your "bloom" nutrient to soon also!
Pics say more then words and pics of the plant - not a couple of leaves you took off.
List the exact soil
list your nutrients and supplements - ALL OF THEM!
How much do you use at a feeding? veg and bloom
How often do you feed?
What water?
Give us these answers and we can figure this out.
Yes exactly!Yep, managed to overlook that as soon as I hear promix I think soil less. What is the reason for raising the pH during bloom is it to make certain nutrients more available to the plant?
