Click to expand... I would sprinkle it on the top, and use your fingers to lightly mix it into the top ~1/2 to 1 inch of the soil (being careful of any roots). But I have been lazy in the past and just added to the top with no "problems" ('YMMV' tho )

L LIBERTYCHICKEN Well-Known Member Aug 17, 2013 #8 Be carefull with the pellets , some hare harder to dissolve than others and can damage roots If you have the time it's better to apply then water in and wait a week or so
