Barack Obama has a Grammy, an Emmy, a Nobel Prize, 2 terms as President, a Twitter account, and 2 hugely successful websites.
Donald Trump has 2 impeachments, 2 active criminal investigations and 1 failed blog.
Trump has a massive mailing list of prequalified suckers and morons, grifter gold and I'm sure he mailed his blog contents to them. He will probably suck another 100 million out of them before he's done and it will be an appeal for legal fees after that. The good thing is the money won't be used for election purposes and by next year he should have America's morons just about cleaned out. The price for stupidity will be high and may even include their lives.

...because he is perfect.

There, fixed it for you.
He was, perfect for their true purposes, genocide, it's the only solution, a final solution to the black and brown "problem" in America. A third of the people would use the power of the state to murder a third of the country, while the other third stood by in fear and moral confusion. This is the only logical end to the path of perdition they are running down headlong at breakneck speed.

Make no mistake, this is all about racism, they have no other purpose or issues, no platform was required for such a simple purpose. The so called "culture wars" are just a proxy for racism, guns are a symbol of white domination and the cops kill black people when they have a gun and suck a white person's ass if they have one and fawn over their 2nd amendment rights. Only the most extreme republicans admit to being racists, that can cost you your job or business and lead to other unpleasant social consequences, hence the bullshit, smoke and mirrors.

MSNBC's Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber reports on Vance's legal track record and how his approach to "do-over" cases offers clues for the investigation into the Trump Organization.

Trump Absurdly Claims he will be "Reinstated" in August. He won't. Time for Accountability.

Donald Trump is now telling people he will be "reinstated" as president in August. He won't, of course. Here's what he's likely trying to accomplish with his latest outrageous lies.

Donald Trump is a federal problem which calls for a federal solution. It's certainly a good thing that he's being criminally investigated by the states of New York and Georgia for the crimes he committed in violation of state laws. But he also must be held accountable for his federal crimes. Here's why the leadership of the Department of Justice is up to the task.

*One correction: during the video I actually (and inadvertently) said "Donald Fraud" instead of "Donald Trump." Perhaps the ultimate Freudian slip.

Manhattan DA brought Trump Organization controller to testify before special grand jury: Sources
Jeff McConney has testified in the probe of Trump's finances, sources say.
Manhattan DA brought Trump Organization controller to testify before special grand jury: Sources - ABC News (go.com)

One of the most senior officials in the Trump Organization has testified before a special grand jury empaneled by the Manhattan District Attorney's office to hear evidence against former President Donald Trump and his company, sources with direct knowledge of the matter told ABC News.

Jeff McConney is among a number of witnesses that have already appeared before the special grand jury that will decide whether criminal charges are warranted against the former president, his company or any of its employees, the sources said.

McConney, who serves as a senior vice president and controller for the Trump Organization, is the first employee of the former president's company called to testify, the sources said, and his testimony is a sign that prosecutors have burrowed deep into the company's finances.

"Complex accounting issues are crucial to this investigation, as is the knowledge and intent of the people at the Trump Organization involved in these transactions," said Daniel R. Alonso, the former chief assistant district attorney in Manhattan and now a partner in private practice at Buckley LLP.

"In any case like that, the two most important people -- whether as targets or witnesses -- are the company's CFO and the company's controller," Alonso told ABC News.

McConney was mentioned by Trump in his 2004 book, "TRUMP: Think Like a Billionaire: Everything You Need to Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life." In a chapter titled "How to Stay on Top of Your Finances," Trump describes an interaction he says he had with McConney in the late 1980s in which Trump implored McConney to always question invoices and never accept a contractor's first bid.

"Jeff got the message," Trump wrote, "and is doing a terrific job. He looks out for my bottom line as if the money were his own."

As part of his probe, Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance has also been investigating the Trump Organization's chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg's financial dealings -- specifically, what fringe benefits he received from the Trumps in addition to his salary, and whether taxes were appropriately paid for any such compensation, sources have previously told ABC News.

"If, as has been reported, the DA is targeting Allen Weisselberg, it's a logical step to seek testimony from the controller, who presumably reports to him and works with him every day," Alonso said.

A spokesman for Vance declined to comment on the development, but ABC News has previously reported that Vance has sought to flip Weisselberg into a cooperating witness against Trump and the company.

MORE: New York attorney general's probe of Trump Organization is now also a criminal investigation
Weisselberg's former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Weisselberg, has been interviewed by the district attorney's office, she told ABC News, and was asked about topics ranging from school tuition and cars to the family apartment she lived in that the Trump Organization allegedly paid for.

"Some of the questions that they were asking were regarding Allen's compensation at the apartment at Trump Place on Riverside Boulevard," Jennifer Weisselberg told ABC News in an interview last month.

A spokesperson for the Trump Organization did not respond to a request for comment from ABC News.

Vance began investigating Trump's business practices based on the congressional testimony of Michael Cohen, who served as the former president's personal attorney and fixer.

'So interesting': Trump pitched on idea to run for House, become Speaker
Trump was asked about the proposal by far-right radio host Wayne Allyn Root on Friday after Steve Bannon, a former adviser to the ex-president, floated the idea.

“That’s so interesting,” Trump said. "Yeah, you know it's very interesting," Trump added, saying that others had suggested he run for Senate. "But you know what, your idea might be better. It's very interesting."

Trump has floated a potential comeback bid for the White House in 2024 since leaving office earlier this year, though speculation over a congressional campaign and an opportunity to lead the House has not gained significant traction.

The logistics of a House run would be complicated for Trump, who would have to figure out what district to run in after the redistricting process is completed. The former president has thus far been mainly interested in endorsing congressional candidates rather than becoming one, and he is expected to resume his signature rallies this summer.

"Will it keep me out of jail?"

The downside, might actually have to show up on time and really do some work.

Nah.

jimmy kimmel makes a funny:

Trump’s blog, “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump,” was quietly shut down this week. An unnamed Trump adviser told The Washington Post the former president was upset that it had few readers and that people were mostly making fun of it.
“From now on, he’s just gonna write bitchy little notes on the dry-erase board at the Mar-a-Lago omelet station,” Kimmel said. “More people will see them.”

Lincoln Project co-founder: Trump's words 'will surely kill again'

Steve Schmidt, co-founder of the anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project, slammed the media for its coverage of the former president ending his blog, and warned that Trump's words will “surely kill again.”

In a lengthy Twitter thread, Schmidt, a veteran GOP strategist, weighed into on how to assess the former president’s relativity and power amid the shutdown of the “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” blog.

Schmidt criticized the “profoundly stupid media coverage” around the blog's shutdown, and argued against the notion that it's “evidence of his decline, irrelevance and diminishment.”

But Schmidt said that the blog's popularity — or lack there of — has nothing to with how much power the former president actually yields, and warned that he presents a “clear and PRESENT danger to our democratic society and national stability.”

“Trump has the ability to kill and destroy with the spoken word. His words; his lies, delusions and conspiracy theories have caused bloodshed. That is what happened on January 6th. His words will surely kill again,” Schmidt said.

“Trump is the leader of an authoritarian movement made up of an eclectic mix of extremists including Proud Boy fascists, Neo Nazis, white nationalists, religious fanatics and conspiracy theorists," he continued. "The Republican Party is the vessel of this movement and the membership of that party is overwhelmingly united around the cause of Trump."

Schmidt further said that Trump is the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee, and is “in command of the party lock, stock and barrel.” He also warned that when Trump becomes a candidate again, Facebook and Twitter will lift their bans.

“We are in the early years of a great struggle in this country that will last a long time provided the pro democracy side can win elections because we are one away from seeing the autocratic side take power," Schmidt said. “They will not relinquish it again when they do.”

When he appears in a NY courtroom he had better pack a spare pair of depends. Are NY state trials televised? I guess it's up to the judge.

Looks like we won't see any federal trials on TV, even for the insurrection, I was looking forward to Donald appearing in a NY state prison jumpsuit for his federal insurrection trial. Of course the house could subpoena him to appear for the Jan 6th investigation(s), since the republicans won't cooperate on having bipartisan one. Then you might see Donald answering questions on TV under oath, if they wait long enough to call him, NY state might ship him to Washington in shackles wearing a jumpsuit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can trials be televised?
Television coverage is not allowed in federal courts. The state courts have been more receptive to allowing television coverage of trials, but none has recognized a right to broadcast a trial.
