I couldn't care less about Donald Trump or any other "birthers" lame attempts to villify President Obama by questioning his place of birth. Even when Hillary Clinton's campaign brought this issue up I was totally unconcerned about his background. I also couldn't be the slightest bit concerned by his race (human, the last time I checked.) In fact, the black portion of him is one of the things I like best about him, it's the outright socialist in him that scares the be-jesus outta me.

I'm not quite sure how you are making the connection to fear of socialism with racism. Especially after he explained that Obama's ethnicity is viewed as a positive aspect of his make up. Socialism in this country has been vilified for decades and most Americans have an innate fear and dislike of it. The new Health Care bill in it's purest form (before the changes and cuts) was a fine example of socialism at it's best. I would have loved to have a single payer option. Of course I see health care as a human right. Something to which everyone should have equal access.
Not everyone feels that way.

there are times when racism is behind the criticism, such as donald trump asking 'how did this guy get into harvard when my buddy's silver spoon trust fund baby could not?'
but the objection by carl to which he was responding had no such racism to it.
it makes me sad that he is on my side.

I voted for Obama, I have black friends, I admit I even cried when he won both for myself and all the black people on tv who were crying as well, but he's turned out to be worse than Bush, not only a continuation of the same but he brings it to a whole new level.
People need to stop being fooled and see what's really going on. Not only did he not do all the things he promised or any of them during his election, he's enacted law after law that go way beyond the patriot act:

I hope not, he's part of the problem of overconsumption and the old boys network. Not to mention he's better at loosing money but giving the illusion of making it, than he is at actually making it. Sleezeball... One of his famous quotes to marla maples was something like "See that bum over there, he's worth 9 billion more than I am right now." (I didn't look it up to get the exact text.)
