Donating Uncommon Clones.

I know we are a community and should help each other and I'm all down for that...

But when a new strain comes out and a very few of us order the seeds, please finish it out a few times before donating the clones. Tangerine Dream is going to be played out by the end of the year ffs. I know I get it, you feel cooler being able to advertise that you have Tangerine Dream...

I have some Martian Mean Green on the way (i know it's not new but you never hear of it here in seattle)... if others in the puget sound area ordered seeds please just grow it, do not donate clones.. if someone wants it they can order it themselves. I have Tangerine Dream, sure I could give it out, but I won't until 2012 at least.. If they want it they can take the risk and order it themselves. I'll never share the MMG.

Be different, hold it, be proud to be one of a few with it in the area. I see MMG has shot to the top of attitudes top 8 strains.. please I beg you.. hold it, horde it, donate meds but NO CLONES. let everyone have their big bud, chronic, sour diesel, chocolope, and all the other super common stuff while you smile and pack a bowl of some mean green

WOW!!!! How is others holding onto their strains or not going to effect you? I'm going to have to assume you were an only child and didn't learn how to share! A strain isn't going to get played out just because someone is selling clones! I'm sure that a few people selling clones isn't going to spread the strain out that much! Even down here in cali where you can get just about anything you want, Stains aren't "played out". There is nothing special about those "new" strains, anyone can order them online, but would rather get a clone. People buying the clones are most likely buying them because that is what they can get! I'm from university place, I am in washington at least once a month! I know what the smoke is like there! I was supplying tacoma area before clubs started opening there! Back when Justin was running tacoma hemp from his house, and up to when he moved to down town tacoma before getting his house raided, before mike and mike opened northend club 420 by costco and the toyota dealership and got busted! Back when there was Only the green cross in seattle! You sound like a flavor of the month grower! just because it has a new fancy name and flavor doesn't make it any better than any of the other strains you listed! You aren't a big player in the pot business so quit worrying about who has what strain! Worry about growing your strain, and making yours the best you can! No strain is played out if it's done right! DJ short Blueberry has been around since the late 70's. It's far from played out and I bet it shits on tangerine dream! Honestly I've heard of weird growth and mutated plants coming from barneys farm seeds!

Yeah it's hard to tell if the things I've heard about tangerine dream are based on wanting to hate or if bribes and stuff actually goes down. I don't care, I only got it to check it out and share with my MMJ patient. And No I wasn't an only child but I have always liked and enjoyed trying to be different, I'd rather try to have some strains that are different than what everyone else has, and I'm sure there are lots of people that feel the same. I'll share TD in 2012 or so.. if it were some clone only or really obscure stuff I'd keep it locked up, and only share it with a few close friends that promise not to spread it out. You're right about stuff not getting played out. I did exaggerate a bit saying TD would be played out by years end.. Sour Diesel will probably never be played out.. but there are some strains that you see out there all the time, most are the shorter flower cash crop variety... I'd rather grow something different than the next guy, is really all I'm saying.. as far as not being a big player in the pot business.. I would never aspire to be a "Big Player" and paint a target on my back.. and I've heard about mutated seeds about nearly every seed bank out there, Barneys is no different. I think you missed that my emphasis was on Martian Mean Green not TD... Flavor of the month? hmm I guess the TD would be in that category, I have Super Lemon Haze, not uncommon but I've never heard a single thing bad about it, that might be in that category.. No one has Martian mean green up here.. I'm sure that's about to change now that seeds are available again, it shot up to #1 on attitudes top 8 strains the day after I ordered my seeds. However I am trying to find and fill out the rest of my line up with strains you don't hear everyday... that's the whole point of my thread.. so flavor of the month is really not the case IMO. I'd like to do a star wars room with skywalker, jedi kush and deathstar just for fun.. it's supposed to be fun, at least for me that's the point, I'm not into it for cash cropping or being a big player, just the opposite really. Played out or not, once I see a strain in every dispensary, in abundance, i'm not interested in having it in my garden anymore..

I still don't understand your logic! If The martian mean green is in the top 8, it's now a flavor of the month! Why would you want something that others don't have instead of finding the strain that works well for you?

haha, I have been doing MMG for some time and I share (even though I was an only child)...so, can't say nobody around here has it. Not everyone feels safe buying seeds in the mail and I don't knock folks for that.

"spread the love" it's good karma. I mean, it doesn't make your seeds any less "special" just because others have clones..... how many seeds do you think are sold...lots!!

What a JERK, when I first got my card, getting my firs clone took forever, cause to many people dont want to share, better yet donate some dam seeds, I dont want 3 year old genetics, I want a fresh pheno,

Maybe your greediness can be justified if you bred your own genetics and kept it to yourself. Besides if they can't get MMG from you, they'll get it from somewhere else.
