Dont have permission to access my inbox?

hi there, I was told by someone that they could not send me a PM and when i try to access my inbox, it says i "do not have permission to view this" is there something i have to do in order for me to view my inbox and recieve PM's? i tried re-clocking on my activation link in my email, but still no luck, it just told me that my account was already activated.

any help would be much appreciated

ok, thats what i figured. I guess thats a good enough reason for me to get my grow journal started!
