dont males grow at a quicker pase then females?

i have 4 babies...there about 1 week into veg and i noticed that 2 have slightly bigger 2 bladed leafs then the other 2 and a bit taller. but its enough to be a difference and not just me hi or something so i there a corrolation?

They need to get more mature before you can tell. At that age some seeds just have more vigor. At about 4 weeks the bigger stronger ones may be male but only putting them in flower can tell for sure.

ya dude dont think because one plant is bigger than the other that its female or male, one could just be a midget lol. There is no real way of telling uuntil they go into flowering. I do know that male plants will start to flower a few weeks before females, so that kind of answers your question, hope that helps. :bigjoint:

I have noticed this on several grows, but it's not 100% reliable,
and may also depend on the strain.
Best to wait for the pre-flowers, but then again this may also depend on the strain.
Some strains give you clearly visable pre-flowers at around 4 weeks, while others are a complete mystery until you 12/12.:bigjoint:

the 2 are probably stretched because they shed their seed shells later than the other two...therefor they are closer to the light so they grow a bit faster...
