You can hide your IP address with a VPN (virtual private network) I used to use VyprVpn. It's around $25 for the whole shebang. Dammit, I got that stupid song in my head & not the good version either...Guys THINK!! dont post ur grow journals here or anywhere on the web! if u want to be a successful grower dont tell anyone!! the police will be all over these forums and if u post a current grow they can track ur ip address and bust your ass!! Have you not wondered why people cant carry on there grow journals and get busted halfway through?? the police track you down and lock you up. Sites like these help them alot to crack down on serious growers! only use these if your in a state where marijuana is legal!!

This thread made me lol. The stupid is strong with the OP. Police can't monitor IP traffic because the police don't provide your internet. They can go to court and subpena the ISP for your DNS records that will allow them to see what you've been up to. But what reason would they have to do that unless they found some evidence pointing towards you growing inside your home? Also, when you type in rollitup.org it doesn't show up at your ISP as rollitup.org it shows up as the DNS address. Which is a bunch of numbers, no reason to monitor that. Honestly, the ONLY reason you'd get busted for posting here is,.. well. You wouldn't, you got busted for something else.
Even if they did that, they'd have to subpena the server host where RIP is parked to get the records and proof of your grow. I HIGHLY doubt they would go through the trouble to take down one small time grow. It's much easier to search through your trash.
