Don't trust my grow partner... call it quits?

Don't let this mother fucker have the upper hand tell him up front he'll take a percentage of the money to cover you using his land and he can do whatever he likes with the plants he has grown, then you get your load of plants and have no other obligations with him CCTV is also a v.good way to go, or you could book a few weeks off work towards the end of budding and just stay there or v. close by until you harvest. Would you take your wet buds away and dry them else where or leave them in dangers way with this old thieving fucker? At the end of the day the best way to grow is alone.. less people involved the better .. even from a legal point of view. TRUST NO ONE! And lastly make sure you handle the money and marketing of your crop cos money can and usually does go missing real easy expecially when other people are real short of it. And Only if you weigh the stuff, is the only way you'll know that your loosing weight .. Weight =Money. Also with a grow of this scale I am hoping you'll take advantage of all the plants leftovers.. There is some big hash money to be made there too, dont loose out on that and dont let the thieving old bastard make money at your expense ~ hope this helps - STELTHY

just do it
fuck what are ya gonna do with all the shit ya got already????
nothing ,put in the ground ,grow the shit and on the last week fucking take a week off work and live there
tell him no more than he needs to know and make sure he knows that the last week is where all the weight is put on
so if he is greedy he will wait until the last minute to rip ya off but what he does not know is you just decided to take week off and ya living in a tent in the middle of the crop
next problem depends on how greedy he is
click click BOOM (i hope not but some people are cunts)

check it check it...
see... it's just the deeper i get in, the less trustworthy he seems to be.
I'm talking bout money down the line... Post-harvest money.

That's where all the drama comes in
Well if that's the case, simply split the bud at harvest time.
Plus, you know where he lives if he tries to rip you off.

Edit: After reading the whole thread:
You haven't even agreed on the details of financial distribution yet? He's done it on purpose, so he can argue for a larger share later. You're right. That guy is dodgy as fuck.

Thanks for all the good replies yall
I'm just so torn about the equipment. (Clones, drip lines, and soil amendments)
I know none of the dispensaries here in humboldt will take my clones.
WIll other dispensaries buy them? They are fully rooted in 1gal pots. more plant than clone now id say.

Another thing I left out...
EVERY time I go out there to the mountains something bad happens... i.e. flat tire ( had 5 of these now even with my mud tires), stupid money arguments, bears fucking shit up etc.
GOTTA cut it now. It's just soo hard sometimes to quit while you're ahead.

So ya... anyone have any more ideas what to do with these baby pot plants?

I have enough problems partnering with a family member who I love dearly, communicate with well, have clear cut boundaries, and ironed all the fine details out with well before we started working together... I can't imagine trying to partner with someone I knew for 3 years. Your whole situation just sounds plain bad. I would extricate myself (even if it means leaving the majority of the clones), and figure out some way you can grow on your own, or with someone you explicitly trust. With a just a few clones you can easily get your own operation started.

Also, when partnering with someone, it is best to sort out all the specific details long before you start spending cash. Even things as mundane as what to do with grow related trash are things that should be decided long before hand, with clear cut procedures. Whether you sell it or not, you gotta treat it as a business venture. This means make a proposal, develop a plan based on your expectations and goals, develop procedures and policies that will further you toward those goals and expectations. A large part of this is how crops would be cured, stored, and divided.

So I am involved in an outdoor grow with an older gentleman (let's call him uncle). Basically, he has land but no money, and I have no land. So we became partners. Over the last month I have become increasingly paranoid about trusting Uncle. See I've known this guy for about 3 years and he has always seemed really cool, but he has been kinda shady with the money situation recently. We haven't put anything in the ground yet, but I have decided that I don't trust Uncle enough to venture into this op with him. We have about 100 clones that are 2-3 feet tall. Most of them are mine. So bottom line, I have like 70 clones, and almost a thousand dollars worth of soil amendments and various outdoor grow equip. So, let's say I drop this grow op... what do I do with all this stuff?
Hope im not ranting...
there just aren't many places where a guy can get feedback on these matters.
p.s. it's all 215 and legal. thanks for reading
Bottom line is don't do business with people you don't trust.

If you got the money and no land than why not spend some money and grow inside? Just an Idea. I wouldnt do business with someone I didnt trust. Regardless of the business.

see i don't really feel like any of that is necessary. I really don't want to have that sort of stress. it just isn't worth it to me.
+ im a student so it's not feasible for me to camp out in the woods for a few weeks.

if something bad is happening every time you make a venture that way, it's a sign to get out now..
Of course every time I attempt to upgrade shit on my end and it's just me, it's always something I run into..
Makes me wonder if those are signs..
Listen to your gut and heart and quit trying to reason your way into staying..
Good luck and may you make the right choice whatever it may be.

I'm new here, but just saw 4 pages of 'cut your losses', gtfo, etc... It is human to not see what is morally objectionable to us. So let me help you. You take them and put them about 10 feet from his front door, lil' gas, light them all up baby, and say, "here's your shit on your land"... and then , cut your losses, gtfo.
And then... prepare to get screwed again in the future, cause that's just life. You do, though, get ahead when you, cut your losses, gtfo.
Hope I helped.
Goodluck in the future, friend.

imo you should go talk with him and tell him exactly how you feel, tell him you are skeptikal about the harvest and you think he's going to fuck you over. see how he reacts.

if he gets all pissed off and says fuck you then thats probly the case, if he tries to reason with you then he really wants a partner in it.

and if you can try and guerilla grow on his land, i dont know how much your dealing with (a reservation or a regular size property) have the normal spot and then have a few more hidden around in different locations.

the way i see it is youve gotta at least try, if youve got nowhere else to grow go for it, unless the time and money invested is waay to much. just make sure you get a return on your investments.

I digress, to bud nugbong. Directly confronting problems is always for the best and often works out for the better. BUT, if he says f u, then burn baby burn!

It sounds to me like you partnered without a proper evaluation. Let this me a lesson learned that you must be square up front, before any agreement can be made. Put it all on the table at the beginning, hammer out who has what (money, land, clones, etc.) and come up with a split, along with a few separate "clauses", if you will that could change the final scenario, such as the yield, and if one has to do more work moving it in the end. Handle it all up front, therefore disagreements should be handled before an agreement is made.

Anyway, back to your situation. If it is legal, then his leverage is weakened. Who cares if it is his land if the DEA or Locals are looking for it? You've got the majority of the clones, the nutes, the soil. What I would do, is do it on his land, without him knowing it. He'll probably never know if you're smart about it and you'll get something in the end.
