I remember 'Phantasy Starr' on the Sega. Played it for nearly three days with a friend...
I never did do the D and D thing as a kid. I found pot before I found Dungeons and Dragons. Same thing, just different ways of ingesting the head drug...

Way, way back...in '79, I was working for a seismic oil search company way out in the 'outback'. Well, they had the latest in computers of the time for processing the data they received each day. One was a Texas Instruments Intelligent Terminal...a green screen computer with probably (I can't remember exactly) 4KB of RAM and a 5.25" floppy drive I think. SUPER advanced stuff. The computer boffins (who were paid $700 US a DAY back then) had a text based RPG. Probably one of the first. I'd spend a few hours playing at night after the real work was done. Of course, there was no such thing as saving your progress. Either play through, or start again when the machine was rebooted.

You would have loved it Stoney:mrgreen:

Just a quick hello to you all. Yes, we are still alive...

I wish I could say that we've been busy doing something as mundane as playing games, but no such luck. Gryph and I have both been tearing our hair out with the stresses of a messy custody case. I need to say hello to some nice people... even though our battery's about to run out.

But anyway... "Hello all. We miss you guys.":hug:
