Don't you hate it when the finish date hits, and your plants not finished????

Takes just 8 weeks. Today is week 8, and they are 100% milky, but no amber... I mean I know breeders lie about how long it takes because that's how they compete. But damn it sucks when it says 8 weeks and on 8 weeks its not done.


(I'm being very pissy and picky, cause i'm sure these will be done within the week. Still, I want to chop them so I can start my next strains!)

lol i know what your going through i have ak-48 supposed to be done in around 60 days im at 72 and its about 5% amber..........i think that 6o ish is in perfect flowering conditions and i know ive ran into a problem or two nothing major but still not a perfect grow.

8 weeks since light switch or 8 weeks since first sign of sex?

you think that is bad, i have a strain going now that the breeder says is an 8 weeker, and i'm on day 97, and still easily have a week or two left on them before they are done...
this shit is beyond pissing me off to say the least..

You guys....sheesh....what are you complaining about. I'm so late in extreme northern California that my girls haven't bloomed yet. Talk about patience! And, plans for how to protect them in Sept. and Oct. We could have snow by the time the days go 12/12.

i'm talking about indoor growing, not outdoors....

you have to remember 1. breeders are growing their strains on their test runs under perfect or close to perfect conditions. 2. breeders will shorten their printed finish times to market the strain, everyone wants faster harvests. 3. the plants are done when they are done, not when the breeder thinks it should be done.
up until my last grow i never kept track of dates..never knew how long they had been flowering...when they was done they was done. this time im making efforts to keep track to remember to take notes for next grow. doing some breeding and crossing and need to know which pheno has the shorter flower time.
