Whats up guys. Started a couple journals here but seems I never get to finish so here am again, giving it another whirl. Feel free to post. I welcome all comments and criticism. This is my 3rd grow but the first of which are indoor. I've contemplated going indoor just never could afford to spend shit tons of money on lights and ballast and such. Finally i decided to try with cfl's. I'm starting to think buying a HID bulb and ballast would have been cheaper in the long run. As you can see i've already germinated my seeds a couple weeks ago. They are all purple kush as far as i know. I started out with 10 purple kush bag seeds and germinated them in a damp paper towel in a zip lock bag which i kept in a dark cupboard. when they sprouted I dropped them into party cups with schultz potting mix. Yesterday i transplanted them all into 5 gallon pails.

ProMix HP
Nutes
Jungle Green plant food. (Our hydro store makes it locally)
I also will be getting a calcium and magnesium booster called cal pow.
Light
15 23w cfl's ( i think 6 of them are ott lights made for growing)
I'm using a homemade reflector i made out of half of a snap together duct fitting i found at home depot. As you can see i havn't yet finished making them. I am just waiting for the glue to dry. If they aren't reflective enough i will put some mylar on there. My walls are already white so i wont be adding anything to them. i also plan on adding more bulbs as i go. The lights im using are actually 6700k. I took the 4100k ones back after finding out they have less usable light
*UPDATE*
Heres my first update. Since last time, i've built my light reflectors. I'm not so sure i want to stay with these. they are very difficult to move up and down. Maybe i could incorporate a pully system somehow?? I would like to put 2 power bars on the reflectors but i think that the weight would be to much for the glue. I was going to go to home depot and see if i could figure out how to wire my own fixtures then i could make a custom fixture for my closet. I also put in my scrog net. That was frustrating! i think next time i will go with something with smaller holes, but this will work this time. Also i'm not convinced i have enough light and its not looking very easy to add more to this setup. Probably gonna be temporary. maybe i'll leave it till harvest. Its kind of a pain in the ass to pull out and blah blah. I dunno,we'll see
