I am currently experiencing current though the bat wings sharp edge if I put my wrist to the edge I feel a jolt, is this common among de reflectors? I was going to exchange it so I bought a knock off gavita same style on amazon and the thing is smaller and zaps worse along not only the edge tips but the metal housing, (finger zapped on housing)
The electrical current is equivalent to that of a weaker fake pen you know.

First thing I would look for on any off brand knock off you buy online is a UL or CSA stamp on it. That alone says if it even qualifies to be used in north America. You should not be getting any kind of shock or jolt when you touch anything if it was made properly.

Overseas manufactures rarely properly ground their equipment most of the time you will find the ground is not even hooked up! Not ideal for our wet environments.. You should not be getting any stray electricity...

Yes exactly...it is a bonding issue...is it at least plugged into a gfi?
That is just a little warning to you that if circumstances are right...you are fuckin dead.

They both are ul stamped and eli with intertek wiring I can’t feel a charge on the batwing with my fingers alone it has to be the more sensitive wrist but the other one you can touch the mounting peg
