Double harvest possible in one summer!!

Im trying something new this season folks, ill post pics when its farther along and let you all know. Basically this is the theory. "April showers bring may flowers." Well here in Northern California that goes for marijuana as well. I put a white shark clone outside in a 5 gallon at the end of march and its been flowering beautifully, two weeks left and she's ready.

When I harvest the plant (approx. May 29th) Im planning on taking only the top colas off completely, the rest of the non-veg growth (as in all the buds on the lower half of the plant) I will remove with surgical precision, leaving only the fan leaves and as much strong vegetative growth as possible. After which I will transplant the clone from it's current 5 gallon bucket into a much larger 15 gallon pot, and let the natural nor cal sun take over until "second" harvest in september.

Anyone tried this before? Any suggestions?

I just now took clones off of my plants and they will stay outdoors too, so maybe not 2 harvest's, but not quite double. I get alot of weed off my clones each year. 20 plant + 20 clones = alot of good times!

So here is my one flowering white shark clone, hairs beginning to turn amber. VERY frosty, soil is foxfarm ocean forest, nutrients were general hydroponics FloraBloom, and foxfarm big bloom along with a little micro nutrient. approx 6 weeks into flower. soon she'll be stripped to a veg skeleton and re-potted in a new 15 gallon home.:hump:
